ViroteaVR is a Virtual Reality (VR)-based service developed for operations within the domain of special needs housing, nursing homes, daily activity sessions, dementia homes and other social caregiving services tending to senior citizens and individuals with special needs (LSS).
ViroteaVR offers welfare technology that gives care recipients a meaningful, exciting and stimulating activity. Since two pairs of VR headsets are included, the service may also be used collectively as a group activity.
ViroteaVR is a simple and portable solution that can easily be accessed and controlled by the caregiver. Starting a session is quick and easy, which saves time to catch up on other work related tasks.
ViroteaVR can be delivered by mail, and we also offer an educational demo (either in person or remotely). The service doesn’t require the care recipients or the caregivers to possess any technical skills or previous knowledge of VR.
ViroteaGO offers an even more portable welfare technology based on Virtual Reality (VR). The service is aimed towards organizations that offer home care services or personal assistance. ViroteaGO comes with one VR headset, a tablet (with case) and a backpack. Caregivers that frequently travel between care recipients can easily carry the whole world in their backpack. ViroteaGO is perfect for organizations with a tight schedule and a limited time frame with each care recipient.
ViroteaGO offers the recipients a meaningful activity that is perfect for individuals that might not be able to leave their home, in order to combat feelings of isolation and loneliness.
